06 fog light switch install

06 fog light switch install

so do i just pull the dash at the corner or do i have to tak the lower part under the steering wheel off ?

I think you have to take the lower dash off. I know I did.

thats what i figured but other than that you just pull the part around the switch right?

on my 04.5, after removing the lower part(above your knees) i had to unsnap(makes a horrible sound) the panel where the switch is screwed into.
i know the 06 is a different dash though

I was able to do it by removing the lower panel then loosening the upper panel and squeezing my hand in to get the job done. But you risk damaging or deforming the upper panel this way. But to get the upper panel off you have to remove all the panels around the radio. I was too impatient so I risked it.

thats exactly what I did
it's a pain to get all the other junk off

tried it last night and it worked for me to glad i didnt have to take every thing off
