The 3M tape doesn't stick to the body..the 3M tape goes inbetween the flare and the rubber seal, the rubber seal makes contact with the body and 4 screws hold the flare on the truck, no drilling is required but I did drill an extra hole for one more screw... So to answer you Q. No, you don't have to replace the 3M tape when you take the off then re-install..

My ATS Flares did NOT have a rubber seal. They were molded plastic and used double-sided 3M tape. Both sides of the tape are VERY sticky. The tape is the same tape used to hold the factory emblems in place...

I had Bushwacker (2.5's) painted and installed on my truck and from a distance, they look fantastic and funtionally they do exactly what I wanted them to.

However, since they did not come with the black gasket that goes between them and the body, we gave install a try w/out the gasket. I would not recommend it. Their manufacturing tolererances must not be tight enough (or DC's?) because they do not fit up exactly - cose, but the gaps are too large for my taste, I have the gaskets coming in and will be making them a part of the install.

Sweet truck. im thinking about a set of bushwacker pocket-style flares to. Did they install and fit well or did you have any problems. Also where can you get those headlights and about how much do they cost. Thanks.

The headlights are a factory Dodge part from the Night Runner trucks. I was quoted about $225 a piece, i think it was, from the dealership.

Here is what mine looks like with the Bushwacker, I think OEM style flares. And yes, mine came with the gaskets in the box as well.
