06 A/c????
Today it was 91 outside in Atlanta. My A/C blows cold on the drivers side 2 vents, but blows warm/cool on the passenger side 2 vents when first starting the truck. it took 20 mins to get the truck to cool off on the inside. The 2 passenger side vents did not blow cold air until the truck had been running for 20 mins. then they started to blow cold. I don't think the A/C system is operating properly. I searched other threads that talked about the condenser freezing, but i checked and did not have this problem. Just takes forever to get the cab cooled down. Any one else have this prob??????

I have the same problem on my truck and the vent on the side of the stereo on the passanger side never blow cool air at all, even after the 20 min period the other does though.
I took it to the dealer and they said it was a computer problem.
Anyway they said that they fix it installing the "latest software" on the truck but it was bs, the truck i still the same and now my engine temp gauges it's never steady, it goes up and down like crazy
Sorry thatI can help you with this problem but I'm sure others with more knowledge on this issue will chime in and tell us how to fix this thing.

I had the same thing a month ago. Drivers vents were nice and cold, passenger side was almost cool at best. Dealer had to replace entire compressor due to a leak at the hose to compressor interface. I found it odd that the drivers side was still blowing so cold, but the leak was severe enough to replace the entire compressor? I dont know, but it blows ice cold now! Hope you find the problem

The a/c in my "03 was junk and I was hoping that when I traded it for this '06 that that was one less problem I would ever have. Today, outside temp is 98 degrees and I noticed that the a/c did not feel as cool as it had. I stuck two of those little temperature dials that have a stem into the drivers vent and one in the far passengers vent. The drivers vent read about 69 degrees, the passenger vent 77 degrees with a/c on high.
So much for DC solving their infamous a/c problems in these new ones. Truck has 2900 miles on the clock.

It has been in the 90s here the past few days. Mine now has this same problem. I had it in three weeks ago to have the blend door TSB performed. I did not have this problem until after the TSB was performed. It goes in again next Tuesday. This truck has lived in the shop. Just when I thought the problems with this truck were history, now another one appears. I am very frustrated with this truck. I have had numerous new vehicles but have never had one with as many problems as this one.

Mine started doing this about two weeks ago.
Had the local A/C shop recharge the system.......went from a picnic cooler to a FREEZER!
Yesterday.....for about 5 min, it did it again...passenger warmer than driver, but even the drivers was as cold. Then it cooled off...and has been fine since.

Had mine in shop 5/24 for passenger side not as cold as drivers. Dealer said it was a computer problem and re-flashed vent controls. Worked for a couple a days then the same thing. Seems like when it's real hot (95+) the driver's side is ice cold but passenger is not. The problem comes and goes. On a long trip on interstate it usually stays cold but around town gets hot and cold. It gets worse when in stopngo traffic. Mine's going back in the shop (25000miles) on tuesday,6/13/06.I'll post again after i get it back!!
