my computer reads a little low too (about 1mpg) compared to hand calc. city/highway bobtail the computer shows avg 14.5 and towing 13k# or so it's at 11-12. A little over 9,000 miles on the clock now.
btw, how many of you '06 guys have done the performance TSB and did it help? Mine is an early 2006 and that TSB was indicated for it but I haven't had it done yet.

8500 miles. I put the edge on about 2500 miles ago and play around to get great mileage but I typically get 16mpg (with playing) empty and 13-14 mpg pulling my 3k lb work trailer. Its light but being a cargo trailer it seems like it is a big parachute at 70mph. I can get 18mpg empty and 16 w/trailer if I stay around 55-60 on the highways here.

I have a BDTP set on towing/economy and a Amsoil drop in filter. I dont know if it helps or not, as I see guys with much better and worse mileage than mine.

Mine has 19K miles on it and if I keep the cruise at 70mph, I will get 17 solo w/air if no head wind. That's here on the mostly flat FL interstates. Best mpg I've gotten while towing a 9k lb fiver, w/air on, at 70mph is 10-10.5 mpg. Mine is in the shop now for TSB 14-003-06. Smokes on first start up of the day, STINKS, and idles like crap! I'm curious if this "fix" is going to do anything for the mpg. PCM

I drive 120 miles a day round trip to work all highway, filled up today hand calculated 18.5 mpg. Thats driving 65-70 mph. Average tank 600 miles. Best tank ever 21.5 never drove over 60 but that tank killed me driving so slow.

Mytruck is totally stock,it seems once ya get past 20,000 miles that you start to get better mileage. I did. The over head display is almost always wrong, you need to hand calculate to get accurate mileage. right now I'm getting 19 highway and thats at 70 to 75 miled per hour. And 14 to 16 city. both hand calculated.

I have 35's on my mega cab and I can't seem to get the Dodge dealer here to calibrate my speedometer right. It's off 4mph still. So I don't really know what I'm getting....
So I just drive and fill it up when needed...

I am getting between 17-19.5 empty and 14.8 pulling a 7200lb travel trailer @ between 55-65mph. My mileage varies depending on where I buy fuel. If I use a local truck stop that sells alot of fuel my truck seems to get better mileage and runs better. If I use the low volume station by my home I don't get as good mileage out of a tank. It must be fuel freshness and quality. I always use Lucas fuel additive.
