With no box I get 15.5 to 16.5 mixed driving and about 18 on the highway. With the Edge box I would see 17.5 to 18.5 mixed and as much as 23 on the highway.
<-----waiting on a Quadzilla box now. I am hoping for similar results. Oh yea, truck has 40K on it, but the milage never really has changed much.

I get about 16 or bit more overall solo. My overhead typically reads about 2 MPG high. If I stay on the highways I get 18 or better but as soon as I hit city stop and go, it plummets. I have a bit over 13K miles, about 60% towing my 11K+ RV.

11,970 miles on the odometer. 11-13 in the city. 17-20 on the freeway empty. I just got back from a camping trip and got 14.9 with the bed full of gear, 700 pounds of people and towing a boat. Overall my mileage is not what I hoped for from a diesel but leaps and bounds above my 460 crewcab Ford.

16 city 18-20 highway so long as i kep my foot out of the turbo, got 21.5 once driving like granny. As I was told it will get better with age and miles. It is true the overhead lies. 31k on mine. I have done some looking and found the Quad tow/economy for $220 on www.autoanything.com adn the rep says no need for extra stuff. It is supposed to bump you 1-4 mpg depending on your driving conditions.

I have a dually and get 13's around town and 15's on the highway. Bone stock with about 9,000 miles on it. And yeah...my overhead consistantly shows I am getting 16-18 in town.

I am getting 14-15 in town and 19-20 on the highway at the 15K mile marker. Overhead is off an average of 2 mpg high, sometimes as little as .5 mpg and as much as 4 mpg high.

I just got back from a 4700+ mile trip. My overhead would read around 22-23mpg when actually 17 was the best hand calculated mileage. That is a little off I would say. I did not see a real improvement with the Quad as far as mileage. I'm lucky to get 450 miles or so out of a tank when my buddy with an '06 quad cab gets 600-650 out of a tank. I can't quite figure this out.
Oh yeah, now 40K on the ticker.....

I've gotten consitently 18-20 with my hand shaker. I've noticed my overhead is consitently .3 off. I was told before I bought mine that the autos got better mileage then 6spds. The one thing that I've noticed with these Cummins is that the fuel mileage seems to be all over the place.

Mine, with about 9500 miles on it, gets mid 14s in heavy stop and go Orlando traffic and on this last trip 17.1 @ 77mph.
Overhead is off less than 1mpg.

I've got just under 36K on my '06 and for the last few tanks i've been getting between 18 and 18.5, hand calculated. I drive 120 miles round trip to work and the drive is about 70% highway and 30% stop and go city. I also pull my fifth wheel TH (11K+) twice a month. I have a spread sheet that I've used since I bought the truck and log every fill up on it and right now for all driving combined I show a lifetime average of 17.2 mpg.
