I never really paid that close attention..... Porbably around 2300.... I do know that at 60 it is just shy of 2000

I wish I would get that letter! I put a set of leveling disks and my front still sits low!

pecandude1,

Be nice if you could get the part numbers off the new and old springs for comparison. I'm just wondering
why this applies to the 3500 only as I always thought the 2500 and 3500 used the same front springs?

Thanks
larry

Just got back from a trip last night and found the letter from Dodge. Towing combined weight @ 21K over some very rough roads we slammed the front end several times. This kind of makes sense after this trip.

Go back to the dealer.... no record of my appointment today... said they would "squeeze me in" Thought to myself... "bend over and I will show you where I want to "squeeze my truck in"......Anyways... drop off at 0730 and they finally finished at 1730.... didn't take any "before measurements" but the front end sag is gone and it appears to be 1 - 2 inshes taller in the front

If you would PM me so when the veins in your head pop from all the stress you are under and you can't drive anymore I'll buy your truck from you. Man you just got to relax. It's a chunk of metal for gawds sakes.
Oh and if you would post the part numbers for us that would be nice. Thanks

For those of you interested in a little more detail... on the org letter they refer to Notification Code E10.... on my service ticket it list "CEA0E101" as the parts replaced.... it seems to be an odd part number, but thats all that is on the ticket.... it was dark when I got home, but I will see if anything was left on the spring

I'm taking mine in Thursday for the same thing. Planning on adding the Daystar 1-1/2" spacer kit to raise the front end a little. Any feedback on the leveling kit?
