04.5 Odometer and other problems PLEASE HELP!!
I just bought an 04.5 dually. I got a really good deal because of some minor problems I am fixing. It is my daily driver and drives fine for issues.
My odometer and the lights (4wd, lamp out, Serv ect digital lights only under Tach are not on) all other lights and gauges are working. digital lights under speedometer work, So I am unable to check for codes on odometer. Has anybody ever had this problem or have any idea what would cause that?
I already changed the rear brakes rotors as they where BAD, brake lights and ABS lights are still on though, no codes related to ABS showed when I checked at auto store. I did notice that tires in front (which I need to replace all my tires anyways) are 265s and rear tires are 245s would that cause ABS computer to malfunction and light up? or if it is an ABS sensor how do I determine which one(s)?
Cruise control turns on I can set it and it stays for about 3-5 seconds then gradually decelerates and accelerate does not function. Does ABS malfunction have something to do with that? Or what should I look for to fix?
Also does anyone have a better pic of cam sensor?( my Haynes manual is hard to see it) when I got codes at auto parts store they said crank sensor, cam sensor. and it would mis when it was cold. I replaced crank sensor and its better but occasionally it does it still so want to replace cam sensor. They also said ECM/PCM code but I was thinking it was complimentary code or/and associated with sensor failures.
Thank you for any and all help, suggestions. I am new to 3rd gens I have owned over 20 2nd gens over the years this is my first 3rd though.
