Who has one of these trucks with factory brushed aluminum interior trim? What is the trim code? I hate the ugly woodgrain and want to replace with brushed aluminum but not sure of trim code.I bought Huskyliner overlay trim kit and it looks okay but I think I'll spend the money for the real stuff as I am very picky. I assume the dash bezel would be the same for 03-05 but the dealer told me an 04 was different than 03. And the aluminum stuff wasn't available for the 03 from factory. Does anyone know if it will fit? It doesn't come as only the bezel, it is part of the dash with air vents as one unit. Or does anyone with 04 or 05 live in northern Indiana and want to meet up and try a fitment swap? Just to see if it will fit?

I realy like the looks of that brushed aluminium. That would make my Black dash stand out realy nice.

What if you have an aftermarket head unit for the stereo. Are you just plain SOL or can you have it so that the bottom portion where the stock unit is covered?

Yep, my 04 Laramie looks just like your Bad except I have the Dk.Toupe(darker) interior.

yep, thats it. now I just need someone close to me to see it a 04 center bezel will interchange with my 03. It doesn't have to be the brushed look just any center bezel to try the interchange before I order my own from dodge.

Yes it looks the same. But I was told there was a slight difference in the 2 years. Not sure what the "slight difference" is. If it is the same with no question it will work, not sure why the parts guy said there was a difference. I guess the difference could have been woodgrain for the 03 and aluminum for the 04. I guess I could ask to see if the black bezel was the same for both years.

if it's anything like a lot of Ford's old interiors, that brushed aluminum is probably hiding under the fake wood grain... break out the fine sandpaper and get to work!

Now I am upset. Mine is a Laramie and I do not have the brushed alluminum. I have the ugly Black trim. But the rest of the truck makes up for it so I am happy.

Actually, mine is a SLT Laramie Sport. They can never find it in any of the book's. But it has all those badge's on it. Well, except it doesn's say sport anywhere.

Check on ebay. That's where I found mine. It came from a wreck. Got it for 50 bucks. I'm still looking for the door panels.

Edit: there's one on ebay now from a SRT-10 that comes with the push button start. Brand new with a buy-it-now of 280.
