I have a friend who just purchased an 03, and was wanting to know if any of you guys knew how to disconnect/silence the buzzer/chim for the key in ignition reminder? BTW those 03's are nice...makes me want to swap again..<br>tia<br>wk

 

I haven't done it but I've heard of it. There is a 20 gauge light blue wire from the ignition switch that is the key-in ignition switch wire. Clip it. I'm seriously considering doing this myself.

 

I tried this on my 03, it works but your radio won't work on accessory.diden't notice anything else but hooked it back together,took door panel off and cut black wire by door latch. worked again, only thing I noticed is overhead domes don't come on when door is open on drivers side which was fine, I can turn on with switch on dash if I need to. Seem to come on with other doors or situations where they normaly come on.Could probably connect cut wire to one of the other uncut wires to complete loop and have domes come on basicly like door latch is shut but I like it this way so diden't go further.
