new guy looking to buy a truck any input??

I want to get a diesel ram just don't know what are the good years to buy and what to stay away from I have herd pleople say about the 12 Valve being good what are the pro's and kone's of the 12 V vrs 24 V any and all input would be great

Man there is so much info between all the years available....

12v are the most simple design... all mechanical

24v are good but you need to watch out for the 53block problems and injection pumps that haven't had sufficient fuel to them.

Common rail 24v are the good also... some injector issues.. most likely dependant upon fuel quality and filtration history.

Don't know anything about the 6.7's..

Keep reading and do some searches... narrow it down to a year you're looking at so we can get more specific.
