get yourself a airdog2 that way you can regulate the pressure you want,,i recommend it,then you may want to throw in wicked diesels bag of parts for yur cp3 to help it along the way also,,good to see you did your air first, most people do the oppisite and then they wander why they blew there head and various,,ive drained my rail with pmt on xrteme with no other mods back in the day ,,it sounds ggross when you starve yur injectors, and could crack one also..keep the rail full at all times, evan the smarty can drain the rail pretty quick it happend to me on the track . evan with all the mods. so be carefull..oh i only have half the stuff in my sig written down..it wouldnt let me finish lol

Clean fuel to keep from damaging the CP3 and injectors. I would go with a Full fuel system like the FASS with filter and water seperator. As high of pressures the 6.7 can reach any foreign material or water can hurt the system fast. Then get a rail pressure gauge and see where your at. No sense in buying more than what you need so that RP gauge will tell you what you need.

Lift pump and filters are cheap compared to injectors, adjustability is always a nice option too. Many miles on my Fass 150, still going strong. Cheers.

John I PM'd you too.
