What kind of boost numbers are the skinny intercooler guys seeing?

I finally got my truck back from the body shop last week with my new skinny intercooler (my truck came with the thick one). Looks like my boost numbers are down from about 29psi wot in 4th gear to 25psi (analog gauge in the horn). Temps are up pretty good too. At 70mph with 600lbs in the bed I'm at 1100* in 6th on flat ground. She has always been a little hot because it doesn't make any boost on flat ground in 6th, but she is up about 200* just like a few guys claimed.

I checked all the clamps hoping this intercooler wasn't that dang restrictive but it sure looks like it.

So what kind of boost do you guys see with these skinny coolers? Im currently running sw3 everything default except vgt on 4.

WOT runs I see near 30-34 psi. I have the narrow intercooler and similar program except all default.

Interesting. I wonder if somebody messed with the controller for my blow off valve. However I have not heard it open.

You know what, I went out and hooked up the smarty.. I am on SW5.. Sorry for the confusion.. But I really didn't notice any change in boost pressures from the SW3.

I was on sw5 for a while when I had the thick cooler and I never saw over 30psi.

I also see no changes with vgt settings.

For comparison, I am using EV2 gauges with the boost sensor threaded into the intake horn. Don't know if that might have anything to do with the difference in numbers. Gauge accuracy may have a play in it???

In 5th gear I saw a little more boost. I usually never go wot in 5th or 6th. I have one connection I need to check for leaks on my boost gauge though if I ever remember when I'm in the mood to pop the hood.
