Since the wonderful Gubmit thinks they need to take out own thoughts away & put all this mandated BS on our trucks, I've come up with a great idea for a new product.

Since the TPMS sensors use a type of bluetooth signal to send info to the truck, how about a fooler device that sends 4 signals of the right frequency to the truck that will shut this wonderful system up once & for all ?

Wire it in to the truck once & be done forever with the evil TPMS forever !!

Even make it adjustable so the end user can dial it in to fit the pressure parameters of the individual vehicle with perhaps a "plain black ****" (even tho the digital geeks would hate something so simple.)

Last but not least it needs sold by some offshore enterprise so the McDonalds coffee spilling firestone tire'd Ferd Exploder driving idiots don't sue the developer because the tires got low because of the increased load put on them because of the Wally world diet the 350 pound coffee swilling passengers were on.

That would be cool. We were originally pushing for this to be a toggle in the newest release of the Smarty.

I understand what it was intended for, but for us that actually own a tire gauge, its just another thing for me to deal with as I change my pressures from season to season, load to load.

 

Nothing is so unnerving as a random chime when I'm 28 KM down an old logging road returning from fishing at a remote lake in Canada, having to wonder what the chime was for.

Removing the TPMS from the list would be great.

I had my first turbo start to fail (at 8000 miles) in just such a place........miles from camp & hundreds from a dealership.

I drove it out & back home (luckily) I made it.

So now I hate the sound of the chimes.........with good reason.

even though my truck don't have tpms, it would be nice for the rest of the crew
