Looking for taiilgate cap for 2010 2500 HD. Already bumped into the gooseneck hitch of my trailer and dinged tailgate, looking for a cap to protect it....

Anyone put one on their truck yet? If so, what brand?

I'm pretty sure Dee Zee made the one i used.It really just depends on what you want it to look like. Mine was diamond plate and the more i looked at it the more I didn't like it. (It cost me about $60) I ended up taking it off because it tore the crap out of the paint and my tailgate was rusting under it. I ended up just having it Rhino lined instead.

 

The OEM tailgate "spoiler" does a great job of protecting the sheetmetal, provides a good handhold for open/close and helps fuel economy to boot (.5mpg on the 1500s).
