Ran the 6.7 on EEPs dyno, got REGEN hp numbers too!

Ran the 6.7L on EEP's dyno on at the Zanesville, OH sled pull.

The run starts 200RPM earlier than the graph states.

First run was 345.4 with Edge Juice/Att on level 5, 680tq at the highest.
2nd run was stock, 264.5hp, about 475lbs tq.
3rd run, the truck went into regen (one of my sensors if fubar'd so it goes into regen if the truck idles too long)
Put down 361.5hp, with a tq spike to nearly 750ft lbs. I like the hp gain!

Truck is stock other than EGR & DPF falling off, and an AFE S2 intake, along with the Juice obviously.

Good info, but if your stock base was 264.5hp/475lbs tq then I would believe all the claims that 5.9s put down as much or more power than 6.7L. Is this dyno accurate? Also, how does regen add power, I realize it adds more fuel to clean the DPF, but I thought it was late in the inj event?

Dang, my 5.9 put down 274hp/531tq stock? I don't understand...those 6.7s are rated 25hp/40lbs of tq higher stock...that's a lot of drive train loss Lower numbers with the Edge too. I got 396hp/774tq with just my Edge...I mean it was Edge Hot, but level 6 doesn't bring that much more to the table, I don't think...I'm wondering if his dyno isn't where it should be?

The manuals are derated on HP or TQ, I forget which. This may explain the lower stock numbers.

As for the dyno accuracy, I was told this dyno reads about 30hp lower than Dunbars dyno, and Dave's dyno is pretty well known for being a good benchmark.
