Yup, As MEGA said, the smarty uploader software doesn't extract the file from 7zip, you have to extract it first. I have a specific directory for all my smarty updates.

right click on the downloaded smarty TNT file. then a drop down menu will come up and click on "extract here". once it is unzipped you will have a SMT something or other file. open the smarty loading software, click on "find" in upper left corner. find the SMT file you just unzipped and then click upload
don't mess with the computer at all while doing the update (I am just **** that way) and it will take about 35 minutes for a 6.7

Hmm.. So you downloaded 7Zip?
For me I download the file from Mads. Then just use windows explorer to get to the file. Right click and select the 7zip "Extract here" and whabam it unzips.. Then you should have 2 files in your directory, the .7z file and the .smt file.
