Improving MPG 6.7L
I've read a number of posts on Programmers that indicate improved fuel mileage and am interested if it's really possible. I'm not necessarily interested in making more power but if you can improve fuel mileage by 2 mpg it would pay for itself in 20k miles or so. Are they also untraceable if re-programmed prior to having warranty work done?
What Programmer would you recommend ? If you have one can you comment?
I've been looking at BD's Power Pup and while I don't think it's the preferred unit by those wanting lots of power would it get the results I want ? Thanks.

None, leave you truck 100% stock unless you want to be your own warranty station. I have never see any UN-BIASED testing to prove anything is going to be worth voiding your warranty. And the possibility if something goes wrong you will have to fork up $10-15K for a new motor. JMO

Rye is correct, if you want to keep the warranty, leave everything stock even then you run a risk of them refusing the claim. There is no sure-fire guaranty on any aftermarket part.
With that being said we beta tested an Edge Juice w/att and saw no increase in mileage.... not having very good luck with these 6.7s. The only hope I think you have is the Smarty for 6.7s that has not been released yet.
