How about a "before and after" thread?

How about a "before and after" thread?
So I'm thinking it would be cool to get everyone to post pics of thier trucks when they 1st brought them home, and then some current ones. See how our trucks evolve once we get our hands on 'em and show off our mods. I'll start with mine. Was bone stock, 22,000 miles on it. P.o. had a bed liner sprayed in, b&w turn over ball, and luverne step bars put on. I've since added mb wheels, 35" kumhos, ranch hand legend bullnose bumper, putco l.e.d. cab lights, putco in channel window visors, mirror covers, & headlight trim. Also did full deletes, blake style with the smarty jr.

Then the transformation started. As always get a fresh set of shoes.
Nice lights. Soon putting some HIDs in there but they are clean.
Also took off my step bars.
And all this fun stuff with EGR/Cooler and DPF delete is coming

I can play, in both generations too!
Fresh home in 08
Circa Spring 2010
And then back to the dealer in Jan 2011
To be traded for this...
Which is still pretty stock on the outside, but soon will get leveled and six Toyo MT's.
So Ill just do an under the hood comparison.
Home from the dealer.

Hey Blake, is your clutch pretty noisy at idle? I just put mine in, and it's a lot louder than I expected. seems to be working fine, grabs in the right spot, feels ok, etc. I've got about 1500 miles on it now. The noise is just making me a tad nervous....

Oh yeah. Sometimes it sounds like a jar of marbles rattlin around in there. Its just the spacer plate between the discs. Gorilla Juice helps to quiet it and the gear rollover. Another trick is when its rattlin real bad, step on the clutch pedal, it might take a few stabs to get it to quiet down. Might have to release it slowely, might have to release it quickly. But, I can get mine to shut up most times. It will just take a little bit of practice.

My truck still looks just like it did when the truck came off the factory floor. I want a sleeper. I love it when someone in a Corvette or Mustang will pull up in the RH lane thinking there is an old gray hair guy in the LH lane driving a stock truck. Oh well the radar protector does work and is on all the time.

Great trucks guys. Thanks for sharing.
Brockman, I've been wanting to get the chrome trim spears on the doors for mine. I think they look great. Chrome door handles too.
Thinking of getting a leather interioir. Mine's really bare bones, and the driver seat is miserable after about 300 miles.
