H&S Qustions, Deletes this Weekend!!!

So Finally deleting my truck this weekend! Using XRT Pro. Question is what setting would you consider safe? I do not have the OD Software but hoping to get it in the next month or so. I tow 14k fairly often and will only run stock while doing so. However, running empty as a DD for work is the 60HP setting safe? I will admit I do not have much control over my right foot and the skinny pedal. The tranny is what I am worried About. Opinions Please. Thanks in advance!

Will do. My buddy is cutting out a flange for me so I can make my own delete pipe. Should turn out sweet.

I ran SW5 (90hp) on my 08 for around 40k miles and didnt have any tranny issues. I didnt try and kill it, but wasnt too easy on it at times. Always backed down to SW3 (60hp) when towing.

I towed on sw5 for a while by mistake and the Trans didn't like it. Even now though sw3 doesn't seem to bother it towing.

Thanks guys. Did the deletes this weekend, and wow! Running the 60hp setting and love it! Power is great and fuel mileage seems to have increased quite a bit. can't wait to hand calculate this weekend after driving to work to see what it is doing. I averaged between 13 and 14 before.

Even with a heavier foot due to the fun factor, you will be getting better MPG, LOL!

Well after a week of driving, (50/50 city freeway) Hand Calculated was 16.6 MPG! So much better than what I was getting before and that was even with a heavier foot. My XRT Pro has Hot **** 175 w/turbo loaded now. Going to update to the basic tuning and run 60hp with that and see how it does. The HD175 seems like it fuels way too hard for a DD truck that tows a lot. My hopes are with tuning that is not as aggressive down low I might see even better MPG gains as well.
