Is the H&S Mini Maxx defuel causing CEL to come on?

Is the H&S Mini Maxx defuel causing CEL to come on?

I am working on a deleted 2008 6.7 with around 45k miles on it, using a mini maxx tuner. I have set the defuel for 1200 on egt. It beeped about the egt when pulling a loaded goosneck, then threw a code for P1011. I may have the number incorrect but it was about low fuel pressure when I looked it up. I changed the fuel filter, trying for the easiest/cheapest solution first. The truck ran fine, and taking the trailer home it beeped again about the egt, and this time threw two codes : the same low fuel pressure one, and one referencing low rail pressure.

Is the defueling causing this, or is it a legitimate fuel pump issue? I did not install a shim or plug in the rail. The truck is fully deleted with a 5" tbe and pusher intake. It has a stock airbox and filter.

You will need to put in a fuel rail plug. H and S makes one I think it's around $50. That would also be a good time to replace the intake horn. I have my EGT defueling set at 1400 and tow at no power or set on mild with no problems.

Thanks. I have already installed a pusher intake, and like it so far. That will eliminate codes when defueling then? I will have to do more reading I guess.

The fuel rail plug is the key to getting the fuel pressure cel to not come on.
