Gas Mileage with Smarty

Gas Mileage with Smarty
Hello Everyone,
I recently bought my truck this past March, and have added an EGR and Cooler delete kit, DPF delete, added a staight pipe from the Cat Back, and installed the Smarty S67. I have the smarty set on Sw 3, everything on defaults, followed all of the directions for install for the deletes. I have a travel trailer that weighs about 7500lbs, and was towing through the mountains. I hand calculated my mileage and got 21 Litres per 100 km, this works out to about 10 miles per gallon (US). Any ideas on what I may be missing?
This is my first posting, and I just wanted to say, Thanks to all of you guys, I would not have been able to do all this stuff without all the great information and help you guys provide.
Sorry for the long post, Thank you for your help.

This doesn't sound that bad for towing mpg's. I've had as low as 8mpg before, just depending on the weight of the trailer, the shape of the trailer, the wind conditions, altitude, temps, and hills. This is with a 5.9 which are known to get better mileage than the 6.7's.

I have been getting about 14 MPG (US) empty, but this was pre - deletes and Smarty. I have not run a full tank since the upgrades on empty. I was just expecting maybe to get a little more with everything deleted....
Thanks
Thanks

You should be getting markedly improved MPG empty. On the Hwy I'm getting up to 18 mpg by hand (20 on the overhead). Check it out and let us know.

I have two question for you what is your rear end diff ratio, 4:10 and or 3:73 and are you a dually? I believe on how your is truck configured will make a difference in your fuel mileage, as to what other trucks get.
I pulled this year in the Appalachian mountains and was getting between 11.58 to 11.85 MPG with my 5er. Without the 5er attached my best mileage was 18.48 MPG on summer fuel.
Around town I avg 14 MPG with summer fuel and in the winter I am getting 13 MPG.
My set-up for my truck is a Smarty S67 ME with catcher version 14, set on level 3 all other parameters are stock. I have 3:73 front and rear diff gearing and a 6 spd auto and the truck is a SRW.

For towing through the mountains thats pretty good really. It takes HP to make the hills and if you have more, then you use more fuel no matter what deletes you have. What you will save is the amount of regens per tank and that cuts your mileage big time. My average empty mileages so far average around 12.5L/100km and were as low as 11.8L/100Km at 115kph between Red Deer and High River.
In short, the towing mileage is not going to improve a lot unless you get out of it on the hills and let everyone pass you.

The rear diff ratio is 3:73, SRW.
