I don't know if they make one for the 6.7 yet. It basically takes out the harmonic vibrations out of the rotating assembly. I don't think it'll give that much extra power, but it'll help keep your motor happy for a long time.

They claim 45 hp. I am not sure if it does, didnt have a baseline to tryout, but IMHO it is definately worth the money

They dont claim 70hp, or 45hp. Fluidampr claims 4-5 hp on an other wise stock truck.

I have one on my truck and its great. A must for the modifcation list.

The 6.7L has a silicon filled stock damper so a Fluidampr is not needed in my opinion.

is it fairly difficult to change? i would think so seeing as how it is pretty tight just to get a new belt on

Its easy to change,, but the belt can be a bit tough. On the box that mine come in it said up to 45hp gain,,,, but I cant say that it is true, or not true

how much is a stock 6.7L dampener???
and how much is a Fluid dampener aftermarket??

maybe a stock 6.7L dampener would be a cheaper alternative with the same results????
what do you guys think????

Doubt it. Just get the fluid damper. The new 6.7L damper is big and will probably run big money.

Along the lines of dampners, is there an underdrive pully system for the power steering, that anyone has seen???
My truck seems to resest having the wheels turned while at idle. It's fine if I start to move, but sitting as in a parking lot, it seems to bog down some.

it's rubber...the fluid style absorbs more vibrations then rubber.
