Emissions Test

Emissions Test
I was wondering if any one has gone through emissions test with full deletes yet if yes did it pass? Here in Seattle we have them. Do I do the deletes and put it back to stock every other year or will it pass?

you do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that the truck will NOT pass the visual test. if you find a smog shop that uses a blind eye on the visual test, it may pass the function test or the snap test. best thing is to put it back stock every two years.

why couldn't you use a programmer to severely DERATE the power like you can with the Smarty? wouldn't that pass any visual test and you could mock up a dummy system to the pipe and weld it on so it looks like the OE equipment but you really have a straight pipe. Just my $0.02

I've done the minimal deletes and will revert them for testing and then delete again. The time invested is well worth the result.
Luckily, I just received my registration renewal here in CA and there is nothing about any testing needed! However, my fees and now the same or higher than when I bought it new 3 years ago...
