Deletes are almost finised
What are safe temp's for the tranny temp and EGT temp's? All I lack is the 4" exhaust and I'll be 100%. I'm already getting an average of 4 MPG better. Thanks for posting the excellent info on all of the deletes and the DTR store for all there help.

You dont want to see any higher than 1300 for sustained period on the EGT's.
I see 850ish while crusing.
Tranny temp I usually dont see more than 150 cruising. I would be alarmed if it got above 210ish.

I agree with Blake on the egt's and tranny temps. Those are aluminum pistons and aluminum melts at about 1220 or so, but the pistons have oil cooling jets so they can take some higher temps for a bit. For the tranny, toodling around town I'll see 170 to 200, highway pulling is 130 to 160 depending on ambient temperature.
