Clean turbo before doing deletes?

2008, auto, 2500, 105k miles. It's time to do the deletes. Would it be wise to have the turbo cleaning service performed by the dealer before doing deletes? There is no indication of any problems and truck runs well at this time except for fuel pressure relief valve popping and resetting when I tow 5th wheel. Just wondering if I should have this done based on age and mileage of truck. Thanks for your input.

Well, I'd say if you are not under warantee and everything is on your nickel then it doesn't really matter when you do these things. The main idea is if you have warantee to make sure it is all good before deleting as this is not on your nickel.

I don't think it could hurt, but then again what does it cost?

Thanks guys

Yeah I'll have to check on the price. I didn't do it under warranty because I was told that unless there is a problem it is a requested service issue and would be out of my pocket. I was thinking of doing it before deletes because I don't want the dealer to give me a load of dog poop cuz I messed with the egr system. Thanks again for your input.

Ask, and let us know how much they are charging for out of pocket... You should just unplug you EGR and get a CEL, plug it back in and take it in saying you had an issue, and see if they'd do anything for ya first as far as any cleaning goes...
