2wd leveling kit
Hey David (and the rest of the DTR family!), I'm a newly registered user (have visited the site often in the past).....this will be my first post and hopefully helpful. I have an '08 2wd dually with the same issue and put a 2" leveler on the front end.... it was perfect! Yours may be slightly different, but if you measure ground clearance to the body just ahead of the rear wheel well, then again at the front wheel, you should get a good idea of how much rise is needed. My vote is for 2" if you are just leveling.
Got the part from General Spring of Kansas City (888-829-0619), part number KC09100BK which fits '94-'11 2500/3500 2wd. Had to call as the '2wd' kits weren't listed on their website. Most 2wd leveling kits are spacers which mount on top of the front axle spring asembly, but not all are created equal, some say 2" but actually come up short once mounted. Hope this helps and I'm glad to now be a registered member of the site!

Just noticed they added the kit to their website now (maybe I started something there); here's the link if you want to check it out: http://www.generalspringkc.com/index...arent=504&pg=1

Leveling...
Hey guys new to the scene, I recently purchased an 03 ram 2500 cummins that is 2wd, currently runs on 265/70/17s and I got my hands on a set of 285/70/17 Trailgrapplers for next to nothing and I was wanting to raise the front or level it out which ever you prefer to call it, currently 3 inches of difference between the front fenderwell to the ground (34.5) to the rear which is (37.5) anyways I was looking on Amazon at a daystar 2 inch kit which is supposed to raise it 2.5 inches, the ad however says that it requires aftermarket control arms does anyone on here know about this?
