i saw a 5 in Pro Comp lift for sale in the classifieds...its minus u bolts and shocks which the shocks i already have...i wonder if that would work...now i still need to cure the binding in my steering/track bar after the leveling kit..man i wish some longer control arms could be the fix to this...but i guess the 33s would be able to work with a little rub huh

I'm pretty sure these are 35" mud grapplers (It was on ebay a while ago, so I don't remember for sure) edit: after looking at them, they may be 33's

Here's mine with 33" Terra Grapplers

Dirty side shot

I need some new pictures

so with a 2" leveling kit and 20" wheels and 35x12.50x20 tires what offset/backaspacing is perfect having the wheels flush or stick out just a little bit on the fenders?
What is the best offset / backspacing on a 8.5 wide wheel?
What is the best offset / backaspace on a 10 wide wheel? (or does 10 wide stick out like 3" and not work on leveled Rams)
thanks

Stay away from large wheel spacers and largely offset rims. May give you the clearance but will also give you wheel bearing problems in the future.

Actually, the larger offset/backspacing is what they come with from the factory so I don't think you'll be hurting anything. The factory rims are 8" wide with 6" of backspacing.

First and foremost, stay away from a 10" wide wheel unless you want to run shorter tires or a tall lift.

Assuming you want to run 35" tires, here's what you need:

* on an 8.5" wide wheel - 5.5" backspacing (H2s for example)
* on a 9" wide wheel - 5.75" backspacing (XD Series by KMC with +18mm offset for example)

Avoid 4.5" offset wheels unless you have at least 4" of lift. Avoid 10" wide wheels unless you have 6" of lift.

Just a question here don't get mad. why not just run a 3" body lift? It doesn't move your steering components and it keeps your axles where they need to be.

I am running 20x10 with 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers and they fit with 2" leveling kit and longer lower control arms. I get a slight rub at full lock going over a curb but not anything over that. I had to trim just a touch but it is no big deal.

Wow I'm glad I read this post... for some reason I assumed the rubbing issue was on the inside of the front tires while you turn (which would mean less backspacing is better and a negative offset) not on the outside of the tire on the fender opening ( more backspacing is better and positive offset).

I gotta go over the specs on the wheels I like again

I think you may have the positive and negative offset reversed.

Ooooops! My bad. Brain broken for a minute!

Sorry.
