I know what you mean. I think that the 37s I have on now fit the height of the truck but not the size of the wheel, so in order to beef up that look I need a bigger tire which in turn requires some modification to the suspension and whatnot so that the whole truck will be proportional.

I think you are going to start running into some serious ball joint and bearing issues if you go much bigger/heavier than you have. IMO the truck is almost perfect now, but 1.5" or 2" lift in the front it would BE perfect.

Too be honest with you, I really dont like the looks of a stock/lifted ride height dually with semi truck wheels. It looks kinda like a 6" lift with small 31" tires. The whole toughness of the truck goes away due to the tires not having any aggressive thread pattern and that fact that they are so thin and skinney. IMO, the only time a truck with your setup would look good is SLAMMED:

That's why I want to get the 40" tires on. They have 30/32 tread depth and a pretty agressive pattern. Also at 11.3" wide each, it would certainly give it a much beefier look. I should be able to get away with less lift now. I do not so much care for the slammed dually look. It can be done, but to me takes away all of the toughness.

I will when I get back form class this afternoon. I don't see why my truck would suck in bad weather-off roading I can understand because it's a dually and I am not doing 40" bias tires aired down to 5 psi- because the G182 tires are designed for off road and snow conditions. That's why I am buying them.
