You need to remember the higher you go and bigger tire you do that worse it will ride and make more noise. My truck remember has a 4" on it and I sit pretty darn high with the the rims and tires.

Leave it. As we all know all Diesels/Trucks in general basically have the aerodynamics of a barn door; Jacking it up 6'' plus adding 40's would absolutely kill your fuel mileage. Those 40's will really bog you down allot, you'll have a big noticeable loss in acceleration as well. Plus the truck looks great the way it is.

I think I am just going to do the 0-2" Kelderman Air Ride to level the front and get better ride quality. If I can find a tire in the 38" range that is a little beefier in width (not height) I will go to it.
Thanks guys for helping me with this!

in your photoshop I dont think you have enough lift to clear the tires. you will have major rub....
I have 37s and a 3" and needed to do some fender mods. Many pics on hear and other places.
There is a truck near me with what looks like 40s and a kelderman lift. it is huge. Does not even look like it can still tow any thing.
So any way, I vote no. For the amount of lift you mention in your last post, there are quite a few cheaper options then kelderman. but I will say not as cool and airing down when you stop. but you need both ends to make that realy cool.

Why brand tires were you referring to? Unfortunately, commerical tire brands vary GREATLY in sizes. For example, a 275/70 should be 37.6 inches tall, but yet most are 38.1 or 38.2" tall. The sizes vary greatly from one brand to another in both height and width for the same "size" tire. I may be forced to go with just 275/70s!
