XZT questions

Anyone's input would be appreciated. I spent some time looking through posts concerning the XZT and now I have some questions. I sent qzilla a message. However, if someone else knows the answers it may save him his time. And, maybe someone else out there has the same questions.

1. Do they have a pigtail or jumper so you can disable it if someone else uses the truck?

2. Am I understanding that for the 05s, or perhaps just due to a XZT re-design, they do not use a plug for the data link?

3. Do you still have to cut, splice or tap the TPS wire, or is evrything now plug and go?

4. Where are those of you who have posted the directions on here finding the links? I couldn't find instructions on Quadzillas web site.

1. Yes there is a pigtail you can plug in to disable the XZT and run stock.
2. With the XZT its just the Fuel sensor and Map sensor.
3. No cutting, splicing, or tapping the TPS wire.
4. XZT instructions Right next to the pic there is a link that says instructions. Click it and then click XZT series.

Thanks for the link. Sorry, I'm talking about the 65hp tow module. That's the one that has a switch. Are they sort of the same?

They install the same but the XZT is easier as there are no switches to be concerned about. The directions that came with mine show install of both, with the XZT box instructions ending a few pages earlier than the other boxes.

They look exactly the same. The difference is that the standard has an additional port for the remote switch and some internal stuff the other doesn't. Very easy to install, Probably around 10- 15 minutes the first time.

I believe only the adjustable Zillaraider uses the CanBus data port, the XZT does not.

Mine just has a flat plug to connect the wiring loom to the box and a 4 wire plug that connects it to my Commander. I don't have a pink wire.

Ok, so the earlier ones had the TPS tap wire, and the later ones had a data link instead like the pic in their instructions.

Hmmm... I'll wait for qzilla's answer. Seems there's a mix-match out there.

No. The new ones are two plugs. Fuel sensor and Map sensor. The instructions show the data link plug but that is for the bigger boxes and it tells you that. The XZT is just those two and thats it.
