i pay 3 months at a time but have had my subscription transferred 3 times to 4 receivers at no charge. they even credited me for a month when my last receiver was down and i didn't listen for a month.

I also have the Roady 2, but I got the Hard wire kit, for $30 I think. It plugs in-line with the AM/FM antenna, and supplies the power to the unit. I mounted mine on the roof console between the lights. The hard wire box is located under the dash, and the wires are run behind the pillar and over the headliner. The wires exit right at the XM unit.
