Ive got Sirius and it is absolutely awesome. The only downside is that they dont play any major league baseball........... they have every other sport and any kind of music or talk program you could want.

have had sirius for over a yr now !! i never listen to anythng in my truck anymore except sirius 21 alt nation !! hehe ..it is now in canada , but they won't be running howard in canada .. so i am gonna stick to my american sub .. howard is the reason i went sirius ..
a little about my antenna routing .. i had it above my drivers door routed up through my a pillar but the weather seal leaks big time .. so i re-routed it up my apillar and past my driver door , and up on to the roof via the top right corner of the back door .. works perfect .. no leaks, no drilling ..no fuss !!!
best addition to my truck ... well maybe except for the box !!! eheh
good luck

I have XM and am happy with it. The only problem I have is, I like the older country music (Waylon, George Jones, Willie Nelson, ect. ) and they play to much of the newer singers, and some that can't sing, on the 'Older Country' station. Do any of you with Sirius listen to the older country? Do they do the same thing as XM?
I ran my antenna wire under the head liner, down the pillar, out the door, then back up to the roof. I had to lengthen the wire, but there are no leaks and it looks good.

I've had both and to me both are comparable.
Just a note to let you know about the billing that each company does. When we traded in my wife’s car (XM) and my truck (Sirius) I was forced to cancel both accounts until later. I paid both companies for a years worth of service at a time. I started service at almost the same time (Feb 2005) and canceled them at the same time. XM canceled my account with no problem at all and even refunded the unused portion of the subscription. Sirius on the other hand was terrible to deal with. They said if I wanted to cancel my account they would have to charge me a $75 disconnect fee and not refund any portion of the unused subscription. I proceeded to tell them that I had already PAID FOR A YEARS SERVICE!!!!! How can you charge me to disconnect something I have already paid for???? She replied that is just the way that it is and my only other option would be to just let the service run out and they wouldn't charge me the disconnect fee. I told them that I know who I will go with next time I sign up for satellite service and she said “that is your right”. So now someone is out their driving my old truck listening to service that I have already paid for. SCREW (I use the other word in real life) Sirius and I will tell anyone that will listen. I don’t care if Howard Stern is on there or not. I will never go back with them.

(2 car units, 1 billing rate) Any input will help.

I have XM. I go with XM because I am one of the engineers who helped design the XM system that now flies on AirTran Airline and soon several other airlines. XM and Sirus programming choices are close to being the same but still are different (MLB on XM and not on Sirus). XM has 6 million subscribers which means they are doing something right. Sirus has less on the air self promotion than XM. Both have family plans. XM will let you out of a paid plan with no consequences, Sirus will not (Sirus is like some cell phone providers – you pay a penalty). But what can be said about both is that they both offer more programming choices than any one could ever listen to and hit the same thing twice.

I listen to a little bit of everything, except country. Nothing against it, just not my taste for listening enjoyment. Sounds like Surius is the way to go from what I'm seeing.
