That's because if you have not sent the Juice in for service or if you do, they will recalibrate the pyro to read correctly. In my eyes this is a big problem. You running at what you think is 1100 deg and you are actually at 1500 deg. An 04.5 stock will get up to 1300 very easily.

Your second post was a bit silly when you asked if anyone on here had heard of the Juice with Attitude. You have been posting about your hot running truck for a long time. You should read some of your older posts as a refresher.

my juice has been in for service. received all the "updates" about six months ago. they went through my unit. rarely saw 1100-1150 egts before it was sent in and rarely see those temps now.
i agree- if you are getting those readings on 0 or level 1- it is your truck

Your truck sounds way off to me, I've been running the Edge for a couple years now and haven't had any of the problems your talking about. The Edge either needs to be sent in for reprogramming or something is wrong with your truck, yet I noticed quite a gain in EGT's when I sent my unit in for the "hot unlock". It would be cheaper to sell the edge and buy a smarty, otherwise you'll be spending some serious cash with intercoolers, water/meth, and turbos trying to cool your truck down.

The Edge does boost fooling to the ECM through the MAP sensor. The Edge does not have the ability to control the wastegate to manage boost. Even if you are building 60PSI boost the Edge will only tell the ECM it is making ~32PSI no matter what you have the boost setting to on the Attitude. You can confirm this with a OBD2 scanner. I had to get a mechanical boost controller because of this same issue. I could hit 50+ with the Hot Juice/MP-8 stack on the stock turbo.
There is a reason there are 237 members in the SAC. Bandwagon or not, it does live up to all the hype.

as for him going another route, how is that going to help if he is seeing these egts with the juice on 0?

my truck YES does blow black smoke with edge on level 0. even before i got my edge (stock) my truck would roll a little bit. Not much but you could see it in mirror. (only when u lay into it of course)
My truck was in dealer a few eeks ago and I got them to scan my ecm and reflash it with all the latest updates and they did. So it cant be stacking or they would of noticed something and told me. plus reflashing ecm would erase that right?

When i pull my 10,000lb 34 foot travel camper at 60 mph in tow/haul (or in overdrive) I can see 1050-1250 EGTS constantly. is this normal with a load like that. If i climb steep grades which theres alot of here in Saskatchewan, then i see about 1450 when i get to the top of the hill and my engine temp is around 215 F by then. Is this normal as well?

also to add as a side note that i bought my edge juice USED on ebay from a guy locally in my province. he stated that it worked good on his truck and that he had a 2004.5 as well. When i recieved it in mail i didnt hook it up to my truck to try it , I immediately sent it in to EDGE in the states for the Turbo Timer and Hot unlock. i also told them to go threw and check harness everything. I actually got a whole brand new harness/edge box/screen from them. Pretty good deal/service i thought i like edge for that. they even sent me 2 pyros already incase it was a bad pyro.
Maybe i should of boughten a brand new edge i dont know??
