I have found that Wix makes a 2 micron filter that replaces the FF5320 from fleetguard that we use for the GDP lift pump kits. The wix part number is 33528 and I was wondering if anyone could give me a good reason not to use the Wix. I have nothin agains fleet guard but the local parts store is pro wix and I go by there all the time. For me to get fleetguard I have to order them, wich is not a problem, but its just a little less hassle to get the wix.

Well, you should be happier to know wix makes an even larger(longer if it will fit on your truck) 2mic filter(33674) and Napas part # for the same filter is (3674). I have used these filters for more media capacity and less pressure drop.

Thanks guys, I know wix is good stuff and that is mostly what we run around here on our equipment and I have ran them in my truck too, but never for my GDP kit, just wonderin. I guess if I get time this weekend to change my oil and fuel filters I will see how it works. Best of all I get my wix filters free through work so I guess its a win win for me.
