I finally got all the parts today and put together my ****** whistler intake...All I can say is WOW! That thing really makes the turbo sing.

I couldnt believe what a difference that makes. As I was driving down the road, people would turn around to see what the noise was.

I didnt really see a big reduction in EGT's, maybe 50* or so, but the turbo seems to spool up a little quicker....and man does it sound good.

Does anybody see anything bad coming from using this type of intake? I'm using an Amsoil dry filter.

I love mine! Mucho better than the BHAF I used to have.

cincey, have you had any negative issues with it?

How about a pre filter...are you running one of those?

So far I've had zero issue with it. I'm not running a pre-filter though I should be. I've also removed the rubber covering on the grill to allow colder airflow to reach the filter. I just make sure I put it back on if its going to rain.
