after looking at the picture above and going over my math my tire combo will be 1/2 inch plus 10mm in. My 315's look pretty close to Paulys so I am thinking it will be that much in.

A 20x9 wheel with 5.5" backspacing should be the same as a 17x9 with 5.5" backspacing. The overall diameter shouldn't have an effect as long as wheel width and backspacing are the same. Like Pauly said a different width will yield different results. A 20x10 with 5.5" will stick out 1" more than a 20x9 with with 5.5", and the offset would be different (more negative).

It can get confusing, I've been wheel shopping for 6 weeks

The 315's are a little over 12 in wide. the new tire is 13.5 inches wide. taking that into account, plus the offsets and back spacing of the wheel I want, I THINK, it will look the same as what I have now as far as how far the wheel sticks out......IF my math is right. Does anyone have a similar setup and a pic? it will be greatly appreciated!

I ran Pro Comp 6005s in 17x9 with 4.75" backspacing with bfg 35 x 12.50 MT with a 2 inch leveling kit without any rub on fender or control arm, but it was close to the fender with the wheels turned.

Well now, I know everybody hates 4 Wheel Parts, but please keep in mind that not all 4wp salesman are the same. I work at 4 Wheel Parts here in Fort Worth, and I would have simply pulled your truck in the shop, taken the wheel off, and measured stock offset. After that was done, I would sit down with the customer and work through the math on the new wheels and tires to see how far they will stick in/out from the stock wheel and 315's. This is simple customer service without being a cocky salesman. I agree with ptgarcia, they will fit, however, you will get rubbing on the control arms during steer lock, or even before since a leveling kit slightly offsets the axle to the passenger side because there is no trac bar relocation in most kits. The extreme a/t comes in a 35x12.50r20 that will truly fit alot better, I find in most cases the 13.50 is alot wider than it seems in comparison to the 12.50. I think that those wheels and tires will look very good on your truck.
