Will Smarty kill the Cat?

Will Smarty kill the Cat?
I just ordered my Smarty and I'm a little concerned the extra soot will kill the Cat.
Does anybody have any information on what the impact will be to the catalytic converter with all that extra soot?
Is anybody running the Smarty and still have the stock exhaust?

It'll take a while for the cat to sufficate. The motor is being harmed by soot more than the cat, again it'll take a while even for the motor, prabably after you trade or sell!!

Now there's the answer I was looking for! Thanks.
I would delete the Cat but, I know it's only a matter of time before my state will require smog checks. Also, I don't want to void any warranties yet.

How does the saying go??? "There's more than one way to skin a cat."

JPR Ram, skinning a cat is fine as long as it doesn't skin you back in the process.
I've known a few people with gassers that gutted their cat and the smog sniffer caught them right off. They thought they were being smart but, just ended up having to buy another cat.
The engineers that design those pesky little computer gizmo's are pretty smart.
I can't justify damaging a perfectly good part that retails in $800 to $1000 range when I can make a test pipe with a sawsall, some 4" pipe and two 4" band clamps. Just looking to see if I can make it to spring time before I have to do it.
