Will the muffler eleimination kit that Geno's sells for 04.5 fit an 05?

Figured I'd get a quicker response on here than emailing them.

My local exhaust shop was able to get me one. Installed and everything it was still $25 or $30 cheaper than Geno's.

Search for MUFFLER ELIMINATOR PIPE, there was two out there.

Checked all the muffler shops here in town today and not one said they'd work on a 4'' system.

One said if I got the pre-bent pipe they'd install it... but would not get a pipe for me.

Yeah, I'm not surprised that nobody will do 4" pipe bending. I used to work at a muffler shop, and I don't think the equipment would bend pipe that big. Either 3" or 3 1/2" is the biggest it would do. Also, they don't stock pipe bigger than 3". There just isn't enough demand to make it worth it I guess. When I got my stacks put on, I had to go to a chrome accessory store for 18 wheelers to get the stacks and 5" mandrel bends used to build the system. (hint-that kind of store might be a good candidate for some pipe to eliminate the muffler)

Trying to find a place that will do this in Ohio is like pulling teeth.

I've called all over the state looking for a place and no one seems to do it.

If anyone knows of a shop that will, let me know.

I would think that if you bought the muffler elem. pipe that it will be a
easy job for any shop to install.

Its not that bad at all to do yourself, it took me about an hour.

Actually found a place tonight... it was almost like it was calling to me. Walked into work and the Country Classified was open to a particular page... amazingly enough there was an ad on the left side that said in big letters "4 inch diesel exhaust systems"! Good price, too... they estimated around $75.

Geno's pipe goes right in where the muffler came off......? No big deal....20 minutes.

Any shop can install it
