Yep 100% irrelevant...took it apart and she was beautiful inside....pistons were happy, walls were clean, and no mushrooms...

Why do you think all the Smarty trucks melted at 1200*?? And youll almost never hear of a properly tuned truck melting...aint got crap to do with EGT's...

Hey guys, I just found my clunking noise in the back of my truck. The spare tire was loose...

My truck would run EGT's of 1350-1400 stock towing. So that is what I use as a guideline. If it melts or has melted, so be it.
