Who tows a gooseneck with a 4" or 6" lift?
I'm sure this has already been asked but I haven't been able to find the answers I want on this. Who pulls a gooseneck with a 3rd gen that has a 4" or 6" lift? What size tires are you running? What gears and transmission? How long is the trailer? Does your trailer have an extended neck? Do you have any clearance problems with the bed? Do you take the trailer off road or stay on pavement?
Thanks
Thanks

My roommate had a 2nd gen with a 4.5" lift, 35's, 6 spd, 3.54's, and 402hp. He pulled a 25' dual tandem flat bed with no problems. We just adjusted the neck all the way up and the trailer sat dang near level (needed another 1-2"). No extended neck or nothing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm trying to decide whether or not I will make my truck useless by lifting it. I know it sits almost as tall as an F250 with 4 inches already. I still want to be able to pull a gooseneck and didn't want to be getting the neck into the bedrails in hayfields and around the barn.

I am wondering about the same thing, but couldn't find any answers on this topic either. I am looking to go with a 4.5" with some 325/maybe 60???/R20. But I still have to be able to pull a 24' Wilson and a 20' Stoll Trailer.
