Who should I send my Injectors too?

Well guys I am deciding who to send my injectors to get HONED. I have heard some companies will tell you etc. injectors are cracked when in reality only 1 injector was cracked . I don't think I have a cracked injector, but I have had my Smarty TNT(BETA 4.2 as well) stacked with a Edge EZ and my rail pressure light came on 1 time for a few seconds. Plus I am getting horrible mileage and fuel pressure at normal driving is low, but at WOT it is the same as before .

I was deciding either DDP(cheapest), Jim Extrude Honed. But who else is pretty close to me and is whiling to check my injectors and also get the injectors honed and back to me as soon as possible? I drive my truck daily and that is the problem. I can have it down for a week and a half at most. Any realistic answer or am I in a fairy land?

I know cracked injector symptoms are:

* Idle at Haze
* Fuel in Oil
* Hard Start ups
* Difference in Mileage
* Some power difference

Only 2 difference I have noticed is seems a little less responsive and less power, but I did turn the Edge EZ from level 4 to 2.
Also, I only get 350mpg 3 times on a tank daily driving. I guess that is normal, but I think I was getting a little better before. I guess I will have to make a long trip and see if I am actually getting horrible mileage.

Injectors have 70k all stock miles from the original owner. It now has 78k miles and I was thinking about sending them to DDP since they hone them and also check them. I talked to Shane at Wicked Diesel and he needs new tips to EDM them. That can get a little expensive and I don't have the funds for new Stainless Steel Injector bodies. I am going to try to get another set of bodies out of a wrecked truck.

I have heard that the bodies on all CR's (except 6.7) are the same. I don't know if that is true or not. I know that the tip is different due to the holes and angle it shoots. But aren't all the bodies the same? I think there is a few guys who sell some injectors and tips for a decent price. Here is the link for some http://hiperformancediesel.com/index.php?cPath=241_250

You're in Fairy Land..... Sorry, Joey. I couldn't resist. You already know whose injectors make the most power while being the cleanest. Cheap is not always the best.

Guess I can wait and let the truck sit. Until I get funds to send them to Don to test and put some Flux 2's.

Other chance is finding someone who recently bought DDP nozzles and has their stock nozzles. DDP no longer needs nozzles, so lots of folks starting to have a set at home. might be able to make a deal, start a trend, rent their stockers, send their stockers to don, when you get yours done, send yours back for return of deposit. or a good ole honor system of borrowing, but hate to see that go bad.

I have heard that E.H Tharp here in California has a test bench to check the Common Rail injectors. They are a Bosch dealer and supplier. I talked to a guy from there and they are spouse ably coming out with 2 machines that will check the pressure of the injectors while the injectors are in the truck. I am still waiting on his call back.

So now who should I send my injectors to for tips? I was thinking Jim at Extrude Honed. I know Triton runs his and so do a few Duramax guys.

Alright guy's we all know Don's are PROBABLY the best to go with, but I for one can not afford to spend $1100-$1300 for them either, I wanna have mine by May for a dyno event and with the way things are going these days some of us can't come up with $1100-$1300 as easy as we can $270-$300 for some EH 90-110hp tips from Jim.

270 - $300 sounds good to me what are the disadvantages to this. My injectors are brand new only 5000 miles on truck. Would this be a good route for me?
