Need to know which levels you run that make the best power.
Also are you running a hot rod pump?

TST 5/5 VA3.1 100% 42psi boost stock injectors = 508hp/970tq. I don't like pushing things too far with high rail pressure or high egts. When Don gets injectors ready for the 04.5 I'll try a set.
You must be going for big power with the stage II. The stage I made a differance in drivability and smoothed out the curves on the dyno.

I went out and ran my TST on 4x6t and the ramifier on 20% and I hit 60lbs in a heart beat and the truck just kept pulling and pulling and pulling.

It scared the crap out of me...I would say I probably have a good 100 more horsepower with these new mods.

Its just plain STUPID!! (and theres no smoke!)

PourinDiesel, That Aurora 5k is a hurricane pump. Why stop at 60.....its good to 75psi. How does it spool from start up? I'm still working on trying to get someone to do a stage 2 and install my cam at the same time in your neck of the woods. I'm still shooting for June 9 to 14th. With that much fueling capacity put the TST on 9x9 and keep turning the MP8 uptil smoke appears. Do you have the adustable timing TST.....its the deal for stacking. ks

check out page 4 of this thread

I used 4x2 (twins program) with 90 HP injectors to get 539 HP/1000 TQ. Anything higher I just ran out of rail pressure, but that will be fixed soon...

cquestad was there when I was dynoing and suggested that I hook up my MP-8 in order to try to get more low end, but I didn't want to break anything and be stuck 4-hrs from home.

With your combo.... The Crazy Larry stacked to the TST on level 2/2 or 4/1 seems to be the best yet. Use the TS pressure on a low setting.

Thats good for over 700. 2/2 will give more TQ, maybe 40 more FT lbs than 4/1. But 4/1 gives 15 more HP than 2/2.

The stage 2 pump will keep the accumulator pumped up tight on those settings, even with the stock relief valve in place.

With the Crazy Larry do you need to have the adjustable timing feature on the tst? What setting do you run the MP-8 on? 20%?

These settings are for the Stage 2 CP3 and large injectors like Justin has. It may need some tweaks since the truck we tried all this on was using a slightly larger injector. He may be able to use a higher setting on the TST.

We used a different pressure box as well, so I cant say for sure, but most of the modded CP3's seem to run best with low pressure settings. They make great pressure by themselves.

Justins truck has everything in place to make over 700 HP.
Large injectors, Stg 2 CP3, cam, and large single turbo.

With an almost identicle set up we managed right @ 700 using a smaller injector than what he has and then tried a larger inejctor than what he has and ended up with stupid HP. I think he is going to have right in the ball park of 700. Indy is right around the corner, so we will know soon.

This is getting mo and mo gooder everyday. Poor Ford guys

587hp / 1250tq.

PPE downloader extreme stacked with TST (old twins) on 3/1 and EZ on 3 with 40" tires.

I just got my TST back with timing adjustment. I should be able to squeeze some more out playing with settings a ditching the EZ. we will see.

I'm hoping to be around the 500hp mark with all I've done to the truck. I'll be on the dyno next weekend and I'm praying to be at least close to that. I've been disappointed twice on the dyno so far and I'll probably end up putting down 400hp or so.....

I would guess you have about 510-530. The 4:10 ratio can show lower TQ on the dyno sometimes, but the HP peak should be fine.

Try some different settings on the TST. Level 2 or 3 on the Edge, but keep it on level 2 or less for daily driving.

Do you have a stock intake in front of the turbo?

Don,
I hooked the monster today at the Franklin, Indiana pull (Lowry Bros. Sled)

Street Class:
1st Terry Coppess 317.10'
2nd Luke Thomas 307.03'
3rd Justin Williams 297.08'

Pro Street Diesel:
1st Terry Coppess 306.07'
2nd Justin Williams 300.02'
3rd (I forget!)

The 3rd gen sled puller has officially arrived!!

I would say I am some where between 625 and 700rwhp. (You were right!)
I am also running 3400rpm all the way down the track and never bogging down!

Thanks for the great Cam!

Don, I have a custom torque tube with a BHAF in front of the turbo, and a Banks 4" downpipe behind it. If I eclipse the 500hp mark I will be jumping up and down...
I was running the EZ on level 3 in daily driving for a couple weeks but just last week set it back to level 1. I should know better after you found one of mine to be damaged from my first EZ box.. The truck feels almost the same so I'm happy. I took a friend of mine for a ride the other night and the EZ was on level 1 and the TST on 6/6. He almost crapped his pants!! He's a motorcycle rider and has a pretty quick bike so he knows what it's like to go fast...

The big problem is that I don't really have to have the most powerful truck out there but in the last few months there are so many trucks getting up over 600+hp, that 500hp seems like nothing now!! I hope I will stay happy with what I have now. I'm trying to save for some waterfront property...

Well the track was a little loose in some parts but had its hard parts.
The track was really nice though. Good hookin dirt!

If you know who Terry Coppess is then you know that his truck is about tops in the Diesel Street Class in the country so to end up within 6 feet of him is doing good!

I had really good traction and great wheel speed (2nd Hi range).
The motor pulled hard all the way and never bogged, really it was insane to be able to pull with the "big boys"!
Both pulls were smooth and had almost no smoke!
