MUd Flaps
Go buy some regular larger mud flaps and find some diamond tread plating and make your own by riviting the paltes on the flaps it gives it a total custom look you can't buy in the stores.

JD, Check out RoadRats they are on my New Years list as santa forgot them.
The important part is the bracket to hold them. Bolting or screwing them to the inner fender is a joke. They need a step back to keep them from tearing off if you back into anything. ks
They are made by a company called "futurack" thats about all they could tell me, not sure where they are and they don't seem to have a web site. RoadRat

I ordered the Dee Zee S/S dually flaps, but when they came in they had aluminum diamond plate weights. I also thought they were not quite wide enough. I did like the mounting brackets. Made my own brackets out of 1/4'' aluminum using theirs for a template. Bought flaps from a truck shop. Rubber antisail with smooth back. Cut to fit (19 1/2'') put a 6''x19 1/2'' polished S/S weights on the bottom. Coated the brackets with bed liner (from a can)& they look sharp if I do say so myself.Cut aluminum from a old reefer fan a trailer shop though out, freebee. S/S was found at a restaurant going out of business freebee #2.Flaps about 20.00 bucks one can of bed liner 7.99 nuts & bolts maybe 5.00 bucks.

I just bought Dodge's new heavy rubber mud flaps. No chrome or polished stainless, just a good rubber flap. I don't like the hardware kit that came with it but that can be changed. Less than thirty bucks out-the-door.

I bought the rubber flaps from Kragen (Schucks/Checkers) I made the hangers, I got the chrome anti-sails and skulls @ a place called the truckers toy box in Ontario, Ca. Any truck stop should have them.

I have the Cummins/Ram's Head mud flaps I bought from the Cummins online store last year but never mounted them. Where is there a good place to drill to mount these suckers? Is the fender skirt tough enough or is there some metal back there?
