What are you doing to regulate the pressure of the walbro? Did you ever find that "bypass valve" that they use?

FWIW- I'm using an Aeromotive bypass regulator. Cost around $119 from Jeg's/Summit. I can go from zero to 60psi. My Walbro custom setup cost me maybe $300 total not including all the filter stuff. In my mind, it's much better than what's out there from any vendor.

I found the elusive bypass valve. Its a freaking check valve that is spring loaded. They are about $20. If you want, I can order one for you too because I think that black pump is going to run to much pressure. The check valves are spring loaded and adjustable from 3-50psi.

Good to hear...this is my breakdown of parts

Pump $115
2 fuel filter bases $40
2 fuel filters $12
check valve $20
3/8" hose $6
misc fittings $15
hose clamps $10

Right around $220..but the good thing is I already have the pump layin around

2 micron mount

Yeah the APPS is in the way. I mounted mine on the frame rail just downstream from the Walbro pump. It has been working well but may be a little vulnerable if I go offroading. It sure is easy to get the filters on and off though.

I running GDPs 2-micron kit in my ride and I'm happy with it. Install was easy and it seems to be working like it should. I run that and the old 10-micron Dodge filters. Change the Dodge unit with every oil change 7500 miles and the GDP unit every other oil change (15,000 miles for the math challenged).

It doesn't do exactly the same as a bypass regulator. I set my pressure at 20 psi and it stays at 20psi no matter if I'm at idle or WOT. GDP's valve can't do that. It works for most applications, but doesn't hold consistent psi.

I run a 2mic by itself.

What about a water/fuel separator?

Im not gonna bypass it... might not run a filter in it, but it will stay. I do have a fresh filter for it though...so it will be 10, 6, 10...the stocker wont be picking up anything
