who is filtering down to 2 microns?

Just wondering who all is filtering down to 2 microns and how often you change your filters. Im about to do a walbro install and thinking of running 2 auxiliary fuel filters.... One would be 10 micron and the other 2 micron. By doing this, I wouldnt ever have to mess with the stock fuel filter and both remote filters are simple spin on filters.

I am running the stock filter/housing with a stock filter and GDP 2 micron spin on filter after the stock filter before the CP3. But now lately when I do a hard pull I am losing fuel presure. And I was wondering if it was because I have to much restriction in the 2 micron filter? I'm not sure but I think that I am going to by pass my 2 micron filter and see what that does.

Also does anyone happen to know the part number for the lower micron rated filter for the stock canister filter?

Thanks again!

I have the 2mic kit ready to install, but I can't figure out where I want to mount it. My APPS is in the way.

Im piecing the kit together and taking 1 short cut from the glacier kit. I figure I will have just over $200 into the whole setup with walbro pump and the 2 remote filters I hate to take away from the DTR advertisers but Im to cheap to buy the $400 kit

I would mount it by the tank!!!! takes up so much room hanging off the engine

I mounted my remote mount 2 micron kit from GDP on the outside of the frame rail, under my driver door. Fits really nicely there. Here is a pic. If you look really closely you can see the white 2 micron filter hanging down (a little) in between the driver door Ranch Hand side step.

I run 4 fuel filters. First is the 75micron pre-walbro filter. Then the Walbro pumps fuel to 2 - 2 micron filters in the toolbox in the bed of my truck. These are CAT 0795's, I believe... I'll have to check the numbers. They are about 12" long each. Then up to the stock filter which I'm keeping for the heater. I still have 20psi and can bump it up to over 40psi which I've tried a few times with no problem.

Same setup here, but all of it is at the frame rail and REAL close to the front driveshaft. I'm using the 2mic 12" WIX filter, changing it every 10000 miles or so. Has been up to 50 psi for about a year now w/ no problems.
