white lettering or not

looking at eagle alloy rims and bf goodrich 285/70/17's. get that stock setup outta here.

discount tire can do the entire job...not sure about the big companies, kinda like to support the small guys. anyways

they do price match, has anyone seen these tires or eagle rims online for cheap.

lastly....what's your take on white lettering...sometimes I think yes, others no way! thanks.

scott

new to the forum, I love it, thanks for all the help.

RWL in or out is a tough one. I lost sleep over it on my last truck (Centerline Hellcats with 35" BFG Muds) I ended up with the white out on that one.
Now, I think I'm more partial to having the black walls.

Matter of preference I guess, they spin the same each way.

Welcome to DTR, great group of people here. Just ask, you can save hundreds to thousands of dollars from listening to people who have already made the mistakes.

No to white lettering.

Never been much of a fan of whiter lettering. Plus if you curb rash just one, they look terrible for the duration of their useful life.

YES to white lettering.

Looks good on most trucks in my opinion.

White letters make em look like a FORD.They use to be THE only ones who put White letters on 2500/3500 trucks.I like BLACK.

Depending on the vehicle I prefer black walls. Otherwise ORWL looks good on certain trucks.

I know it is kind of being **** but on my 03 I put the RWL out initially then after 15k-20k I switched them around. My front tires always wore a little more on the outside so this mad them look new when they were turned around on the wheel. Not to mention my sister-in-laws boyfriend hit a curb hard and trashed one of the letters.

I've got them on my Michellins. They look great IMO, but my brother doesn't put them on his trucks. (Get what YOU think looks best!)

I'd put a vote for no white lettering. Just my preference.

My vote would be white letters in. If I get sponsored by a tire manufacturer, I'll flip the tires around (Bf Goodrich, I'll be by my phone tonight ...ohh yea, manufacturers don't really sponsor work trucks, do they?

When did FORD ever make a 2500 or 3500 ?

My 1998 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 CTD regular cab Flame Red Sport truck had LT245/75R16 Michelin LTX M/S's in OWL as OE.
