Whiplash suspension
So what do you guys think of whiplash suspension. I was looking around and it seems that the name has changed, not sure. I have heard mixed opinions on them, but has anyone delt with the lift directly or know about it?

Haven't heard much good about them. A buddy of mine owns an off-road shop here in town and he put a Whiplash lift on his '05 Chevy. They got the kit and started on the lift. He told me that they had to weld up and redrill a bunch of the holes because they were off by anywhere from a 1/4" to a whole inch. That doesn't say much about quality control there. The kit they installed was a solid front axle conversion and they recieved 2 right hand (or left hand; can't exactly remember) mounts. It took over a month to get the correct mount. That's a lot of down time and a lot of wasted time on one of their shop lifts. They looked the kit over before installing, but didn't catch the incorrect part. After cutting apart an IFS truck it's kinda hard to go back to stock......
I was also in there shop one day while they were going through the whole deal and the owner of the shop was talking to them. He was trying to explain that some of the parts were not fitting correctly and that he recieved the wrong part in the component box. The guy at Whiplash starting cussing him for downing his shop and told the offroad shop that they did not know how to correctly install the lift. I know all this because David (owner of the shop) had the Whiplash guy on speakerphone.

I have seen some bashing about them not being good offroad, but what do you expect out of a suspension that is just made to look cool? They are made for mud boggers and beauty queens, and they do the job perfectly fine.
