Wheres all the Smarty Jr. revo reports??
I'm on the fence about buying a Smarty Jr. and have been waiting for the whole level 2/3 to be fixed. How about it Jr. guys is the revo working well?? What TM and timing settings are working /not working for you? Smoke?

I just finished downloading the new Revo Jr. in the truck. I set everything to default and sw # 2 (towing 70 hp). Hardly any smoke and the power does not seem to be as good as the previous Smarty Jr on the sw#1 (fuel mileage 40hp). Maybe has to do with the torque settings.

well i loaded it up last night... sw3, timing 4, tq 2. the timing rattle wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. seemed alittle laggy for to me. one thing i did notice was when my tranny locked the converter barked the turbo hard as hell. it does smoke alittle more on this setting- not so much a dark cloud, but a haze. i haze coming off the line, and it doesnt clear up till the higher rpms. around 2k i can blip the throttle and lay a nice little cloud. im going to have to mess with the settings alittle more. im think i may try the sw3 with the tq on 2, and the timing on whatever the default setting for sw3 is..

i loaded revo tonight...the #2 default was strong as you know what and didn't slip my stock trans at wot...Bosshogg and I played with it and it is exactly what i wanted...Boss was impressed even though he is pushing 500hp with his current setup

stack a power puck or a xzt with pressure to your smarty jr and you will be pushing 500 if not 480+

hey para...you mean in sw#2 or with sw#3 i'll be at 480+...Is that cause boss has a 305/555 or are you talkin hp at the crank on my 610

i forgot who it was but check the older smarty jr post on here. he dynoed his stock truck with the previous sw for the jr. it was like the beta 4 software, with no smoke. he ended up dynoing 430hp on that sw. now with the revo im unsure what combo of timing and tq will get you there, but its possible it seems. he did this on his 04.5 i believe so he has the 610 motor. stack the jr with something small like a xzt or a power puck and you will be knocking on 500 hp.

I've been running level 1 (econemy) with torque on 4 and timing on 2 and its very smooth power. I also tried other torque and timing settings but this works well with my POS clutch, heven't checked fuel mileage yet. The power of the Smarty is the smoothest of all the programmers and modules i have tried, i don't think you will be disappointed.

Hey maybe I am out of the loop here. I have had my smarty jr since maybe April. Above someone said there is a problem with 2/3, and that there is a software smarty jr revo. Can someone enlighten me =/ Sorry for the noobness

no there was a problem with the sw before this, the beta 4. sw 2 and 3 on the beta 4 put out the same hp/tq... one was suppoed to give you a 70hp boost(sw 2) and the other 100hp (sw3)

Uploaded the new Jr Revo to fix the #2 setting. No problems.
Now using Towing #2 with Timing #2 and trque #2. Get pretty smooth power and feels like it is in between the old #1 and #3.
Get pretty burp of smoke befopre the turbo gets going. If you roll into it on the fly not quite turning day to night but pretty good bunch of heavy haze.
If I take it easy on the peddles I can run alomost smoke free.
The overhead now reads about 21.5. Waitng for my next fill up so I can at long last hand calc the mileage. Jr let me finally fix tire size.

I agree. I am not downloading the REVO until all the bugs are worked out of it. I like my JR just the way it is for now, on beta 4.

You guys are missin out on the revo sw#2 setting. Its is exactly what I thought I was buying when I bought my jr. last Jan. Not laggy like the older sw#1's and dosnt slip my factory tanny and has good low rpm fueling/grunt. Check it out!
