Wheels

Wondering what wheels (maybe in a 22") would look good on a quad 2500. Hadn't seen many options in my internet ventures, so I thought I'd ask here. Post some pics if you got them. Thanx-J

I do like the wheels man, no I'm not wanting to be all " ghetto fab" and all, just someting nice and away from the factory style.

I agree 100% but 16" wont clear third gen brakes, yet another reasn to love the 2gen!

You could go 19.5" with no lift I believe.

Thanx man, I wasn't aware of this. I would just like something different from stock is all.

Wheels

You will for sure have to go with 17 or better. The standard wheels are 17 for clearance of the brakes. Most the aftermarket wheels are made different and you more than likely will have to go with 18s for most of them. If it is 4wd with pretty good size tires, I cannot tell that much diff in looks between 18s or 19s. Be rdy to drop some money though. The wheels aren't cheap and the tires are pretty expensive too. Also, if you are hauling loads with your truck, check the load rating for the wheels and tires you decide to go with. I wanted to put aftermarket wheels and tires on my rig but I pull about 13000lbs on a gooseneck. There isn't any better of a setup than what come stock on these trucks for that. They ain't as purty though!!!

When I was in the truck market I was looking at a 06 1500 2wd Big horn edition and it had 22's on it and didnt notice the tire size tho. If I had to guess it would be 305's or 315's.
