Wheels

I'm looking for some new wheels.
I'm thinking of 20" or 22" wheels and 35" tires.

My truck has a 2.5" Skyjacker lift
And I have Bushwacker fender flares so I would like to have some wheels of 10" or wider. And with an negative offset.

I've found a some wheels that I like.
Like the XD Diesels

Can you show me what wheels you like so I can see some more.

Thanks,
Roel

Here is a picture with Hummer H2 wheels with 315/70/17 tires
I don't know the offset of the H2 wheels but I want really want my new wheels 1.5 or 2 inch more to the outside

Greg - Very nice looking... I especially mean that you found a 9" wheel that does not stick outside wheel well too far (or so it appears).
Got pic of down the side?
Really +18 on offset? Excellent. Got a link to their website... I'd prefer a little less bling. JMPP

Dutch Yellow wants more 'stick out' so he needs less off set, less back spacing or 10" wide wheels.
Here you go 'Dutch Yellow', if you missed it. Not mine, but one of the nicest looking Mega Cabs I've seen!

That looks really nice.
But because of my fender flares I want less offset.
Did I understand it right that with less offset there is less rubbing? Or is it more offset less rubbing?

Really nice Megacab

if you go with 20" wheels and you want to run 35" tires with the lift you currently have you will have to go with a 9" wheel to clear the front fender at full lock. If you go with 20x10s you will run into the same trouble i am having now and that is I was wanting to run a 35" tire on my 20x10 wheels with like 4 1/2 of backspacing with a 2" leveling puck. Thats not possible. Have to go with like 3-4" of lift or downsize tires to like around a 33 or so. Like my wheels they stick out like you say maybe 2" or so but trying to fit 35s is a pain. hope this helps

Here's my truck although only 2wd, but you get an idea. MOTOMETAL's 20x9-4.5'' bs and I think +12 offset. These are out of wheelip close to 2.25''. 32'' terragrappler tires. No level spacer and it did rub until I did some trimming of inner fenders.

Maybe these might work for you...Ballistic Hostels from Discount Tires. Several sizes to choose from, and at least with mine, good to go backspace and offset. No rubbing with my Carli setup.

So that means that it's the best to go voor some 9" in front and in the back it can be 10" or more.
With what offset or backspacing on a 9" wheel do I need for no rubbing?

Positive off-set moves the tire under the fender and moves the wheel hub closer to the outside face of the tire.
Negative off-set moves the tire away from the truck centerline.
No offset centers the bolt holes (wheel hub) on the wheel.

20x9 w/35" FC2 w/ +10mm offset. No rubbing, no lift. Any more offset causes rubbing.

Thanks for all the info!!

So this means I need to go looking for some 9inch or 8.5inch wheels in front. And I prefer 10inch or wider in the back.

My truck is yellow and I really like the rims who are black and chrome(or polished)
Totaly black can be nice but most of the wheels i've seen I like them more with a little chrome or polished.

I also like totaly chrome wheels but that really is hard to keep clean with the climate in Holland.
If we in Holland use the chrome you have in the USA that turns yellow and is going to rust.
But if I see some awesome chrome rims that i like the most I will buy them. But then I need to clean them 3 times a week.

I've found a few sites eith lots of rims but there must be alot more tht I don't know about.

If you got some idea's for my truck please post them.
Or some websites where I can look.
